THE GUESTHOUSE
We welcome you to Villa Vengetind, a guesthouse located amongst the dramatic mountains of Romsdalen by the Fjords of the Norwegian North West Coast. The house is positioned close to some of the area's most well-known attractions.
Villa Vengetind is a large house split into 2 separate apartments. Both sides comfortably sleep 10 people and have their own kitchen and dining room.
It’s the perfect base for groups of friends, families or workplaces looking for a cosy and warm hideaway. It’s also possible to rent the whole house and open up between the two sides. If you book both sides we offer a 10% discount, add discount code WHOLEHOUSE.
We have a large garden and both ends have their own outdoor seating area with fire pits. During colder times you can snuggle up by the wood burner inside.

ABOUT US
Villa Vengetind has been hosting guests from across the world since 2012. The concept was started by Tommy and Renate Soleim and in 2021 the house was taken over by us, Hedvig and Joe. We moved from London to Isfjorden to start a new adventure in this incredible area.
We have a passion for food, drinks, nature and hospitality and we hope to apply all these interests to your experience. Our goal is to create a space where you can completely relax and escape into nature.

WHERE WE ARE
You will find us in Dalsbygda, Isfjorden, around a 15-minute drive from Åndalsnes. Just follow directions to Dalsbygdvegen 477, 6320 Isfjorden.
The closest train station is in Åndalsnes, trains arrive from Oslo and Trondheim via Dombås. Taxis are available from the station.
Our closest airport is Molde where you can hire a car or take a bus to Isfjorden and a taxi from there.
ROMSDALEN
Romsdalseggen
A breathtaking hike from Vengedalen to Åndalsnes. Finish by the famous Rampestreken, the airy viewpoint.
Trollstigen
This incredibly majestic winding mountain road is less than a 30-minute drive away.
Trollveggen
Europe's highest vertical cliff, about 1,700 meters up from the bottom of the valley. Truly a sight worth seeing.
Randonée skiing
The long winter season makes Romsdalen an obvious choice for rando skiing. With mountains like Kirketaket, Kjøvskarstinden, Loftskarstind, Blånebba and Smørbottind in view you're spoilt for choice.
Climbing
The steep, spiky mountains attract thousands of climbers a year. Peaks like Vengetind, Romsdals Hornet, Juratind and Store Trolltind are all nearby.
Hiking
There are endless hikes for all levels in and around the area. Litljefjell, Romsdalseggen, Trollryggen, Bispen. Rampestreken, Blånebba and Moanebba to mention a few.
Tindesenteret
From Tindesenteret you can book the very popular "Via Ferrata" and do a climbing course. Next to Tindesenteret you'll find the gondola that'll take you up to Nesaksla(708 asl), where you can enjoy lunch or dinner from the top at Eggen Restaurant.
Åndalsnes
"The Tinde Capital"
A bustling local city with a variety of cafes, shops and restaurants.
Local Guiding
There are lots of skilled guides in the area who'll happily show you the way, be it winter or summer. We're happy put you in touch with them.
